Growing pains
I have a question before giving a speech. Why the world so wonderful. And in my opinion, the world is wonderful because of differences. Animals are different from people, you are different from me. And because of our different disposition, the world become more and more wonderful. And another question appear: Why we are different? Someone says because of the gene in our body, someone says because of parents. And I have an answer: Because we have different experiences. And growing pains are some important part in our experiences.
Today, I honor to stand here to give a speech about my growing pains. That is an event which we all live through: our primary school graduate. Although adults say itisn’t worth to feel sad, we all think it is a good memory. 6 years, in our childhood, I think it is the one of the most important experiences in our life. We have only 3-year junior high, and just 3-year senior high, and only 4-year college, but we have 6-year primary school.
We harvest knowledge, and we harvest friendship. At the last day, We all feel regretful, because we didn’t cherish the time. We all loath to leave our primary school. My primary school is a small place which made by a basketball court, three small badminton court. But we all love this land, because this is the place where we grow up.
And for our best friend, from that day on, we would separate for a long time. That is impossibleto see our old friend every day. We have a lot of thing to say to each other. Someone even shed their tear.
That was the time we write alumni book, our teacher came and said to us: “All good things came to an end, maybe 20 years later, we still remember what we happened here, and maybe we even can’t remember our best friend’s name. But we still have to face our life, you have your junior high, and senior high; you will have a lot of graduations, but we have to be strong, to be brave to walk alone in your journey. ”
All of us silence for a long time. And the inescapable time came: that was the time we had to leave. We stayed in school for a long time. No one want to leave first. And now, I think all of us miss our friends, miss our life in primary, things can’t come back, memory is only for remembrance, and memory will be disappear one day. Primary graduate is the growing pains we all live through. And we should cherish our junior high. Because one day, we will leave our junior high and go into senior high. Let’spray: time past slow down.
And that’s the growing pains I want to tell you. Thanks.
