Economic Development and Environment Protection
Generally speaking, economic development and environment protection should be in blance.It is unreasonable to aim at economy and regardless of environment.When reap economy, we also should protect environment at the same time.
However, with the development of national economy,environment is getting more serious.Although too many factories is good for our economy,it is more harmful to our environment.There is a saying :Environment is the mother of mankind.So we should realize the significance of making protection of cities environment is of importance.
Now,we can take some measures to fight against Environment pollution .New fuel can be used to replace gas. In addition ,we can plant more trees. If everybody realizes the importance of environment and does something to stop pollution,the problem will be solved.

Bicycle and Car
Without doubt,bicyles are very popular in China,previously.Almost every family in the city has two or three bicycles.On the other hand,the number of cars have been increaseing so rapidly,the car is everywhere.Today,we can say that the car is a fact of modern life.What is more,we believe that cars and bicycles have both benefited and hurt society.
Compared with cars,bicycles are superior in many ways.First,riding bicycle is good for health.Second,they can save energy.Third,they bring no noise and can not lead to environmental pollution.On the contrary,cars consume plenty
of oil and they pollute the air. Sometimes,it is difficult for a driver to park his car. Moreover they often cause traffic jams and accidents.Also, people who drive too much have bad health because they no longer like to walk.
On the other hand,the car has made it easier for people to travel.It has brought people closer together and has made it more convenient for people to get to work,to shop and to live.However,the bicycles are slower for people to get the places where they want to.As well, when bad wheather comes to us,it will be hard to ride bicycle.
Above all,I think we will be able to select the one which best fits our society.

My view on cet reform
I am a pedestrian student in college,liking most college students in China ,I have to pass CET 4 to get an academic degree.I don't think it necessary to link English to degree,in my opinion,it is a pity thing in China.I call for an great transformation in education of China.
As you know,in order to enter college,we all have learnt English for neary 10 years.Most of us have little chance to work or study in foreign countries. Chinese is our native language ,I don't know why we have to spent so much time on English,a foreign language.Idon't mean that English isn't importent,but Chinese is also importent.
Once we leve college,most students will seldom use English,in fact,maybe the only chance to show our English is that when we teach our children.I am afraid the fact exits in the modern society.
In modern times,we have more and more subjects in college,students have so many chances to choose their favourate one.But no matter what subject they choose ,they have to learn English hard.Why? Dose the subject more important than the others,even their specialized core courses ? Of course not.They learn it just to pass CET4,to get their acdemic degree.Once they passed,they would forget English as soon as possible.I hope the the authorities may pay attention to the phenomena .
Well,in my opinion ,we should make a concrete analysis of concrete problems .We all know English is a important tool in international world, so we'd better allow students choose their favourate parts of English to learn.For example,students majoring in Computer Science may learn Computer English,thay also can have a test ,but the Computer English would take the major part.
Above all,in my view,I hope the English edution should have the whole place reorganised. All around were change and decay.I took a keen interest in the revolution going on all round our college.

In my opinion, eonomic dvelopment and evironment potection are two independent and mutual aspects in our society. Without economic development, we would remain backword, and we might be conquered and bullied by other countries. Without evironment potection, we would lost our home.
As we known, our economic is developed rapidly in recent years. But at the same time we can see the quality of our living environment is becoming worse and worse. Why? Because more people pay attention to their economic but neglect their living environment. There are many environment problems, for example: deforestation results in the increase of global temperature and unpleasant change of climate, many factories in cities discharge enormous harmful chemical into air and river every day and the gases from more and more car engines are very poisonous and so on. All environment pollution will make many people feel sick.
Therefore, the best solution is that we should devote to the protection of our home while we are developing our economy. At the same time governments of all countries should establish strict laws to prevent the environment from being further polluted. Measues should be taken to make people realize the urgency of protecting our earth. At last, everyone should try his best to make our earth a better place to survive.
