铸件的气孔主要有析出性气孔和反应性气孔2种。析出性气孔是铁水凝固过程中气体溶解率下降,导致气体不断从铁水中排出形成;反应性气孔是高温铁水与涂料、砂型接触时,会局部形成FeO,FeO与砂SiO2反应,形成硅酸亚铁FeOSiO2,吸收水分成硅酸铁,凝固过程中会再放出水分,以至于形成反应性气孔。

如果要避免气孔的形成,要从以下几方面着手——1、提高出水温度,浇注前保证足够的静止时间,以保障铁水的纯净度。2、砂型烘干,或潮膜砂表面用酒精涂料,刷完点火,进行表干。3、浇注温度不要过高。4、浇注时间要快。
