浮力产生的原因的确是上下压差,但是是压强差而不是水的压力差。压强差只与水的高度差有关,与水量无关。

实际上,液体产生的浮力大小只与两个因素有关:一是浸在水中的物体排开的液体的体积(无论物体是浮在水中还是沉在水中),二是重力加速度的大小。

但是,重量有限的液体不能产生无限大的浮力,因为这意味着液体必须与浸在其中的物体接触面所形成的“套子”体积为无穷大,显然这个时候液体的厚度就只能是无穷小,这当然是不可能的。
