We live only once
I still remember what is written in the well-known novel'How the steel was tempered' that Paul,the main character has said life for everyone is but once.In the book, we can see through the noble spirit of him who can still keep on writing in spite of serious disease inflicting him.Therefore, we have to retrospect and asd ourselves how we are going to spend the only once lifetime.
That certainly shows the life is short and limited on the one hand,but moreover, I think it focuses on our contributions which are important for ourselves, others and even the whole world.
Like one of the greatest scientist Hua Luogeng, he has made a lot of study in maths for years and tried to pervail his research result in production in factories,which brings about exerllent progress in hisotry.However,for us common people,we should do things which can be meaningful for ourselves,others and the society, because we have just lived in this world for only once.

Almost everyone desires to achieve success. However, seldom have most of them ever thought of the real symbol of success. They just think that money is the only symbol of success. And nowadays, more and more people turn to hold the view that only those who have possessed large numbers of money are truly successful. To make matters worse, in order to get the so-called success, some people choose unjustifiable ways to make money. Is this true?

First of all, I have to confess that in most cases, money is one of the symbols of success, and there is no doubt that rich people usually have a successful life and career. For instance, Bill Gates, once the richest person in the world, is a successful businessman incontrovertibly. And his company, Microsoft, is among the top companies worldwide.

However, no one could deny that people with little or no money have no access to success. The poor still have opportunities to be regarded as successful people. We all know that Vincent van Gogh lived a poor life throughout his lifetime. But nobody can wipe him off the list of world-class painters. People from all over the world will remember him, as well as his accomplishments forever.

So in my opinion, success is a kind of the will, a process of struggle, and moreover, a determination of overcoming self. Once we achieve what we have dreamed of, or once we step over an obstacle of our minds, we can say proudly that we are successful.

Thus, as the youth, we should leave any corporeal desire aside, and spare no efforts to move forwards to catch the star of our dreams.
