二、用法不同

1、identify：identify的基本意思是“认同”，即认为某事物等同于另一事物，这种同一性可以是真实的，也可以是想象的，也可以表示思想上的混乱或自我欺骗。引申可表示“同情”“支持”。

2、distinguish：distinguish的基本意思是“辨认，识别，区分”，通过听力、视力等感官辨认人或物，这些人或物可以是相像的东西，也可以是不相像但紧密相关容易引起误解的东西，引申可表示“与众不同”。

3、recognize：recognize的基本意思是“认出”，指根据事物的特征而觉察到、辨认出或认可某一现象存在。引申表示“承认”“确认”“辨认”，指某人注意到、认定某事物的真实性。
