关于定语从句的小问题

不是看定语从句中的动词是及物动词还是不及物动词，而是看先行词在定语从句中充当什么成分。
This is the place which i visited last year.此时的the place在从句中充当的是visited 的宾语，所以用关系代词which引导；
Last sunday they reached Nanjing,where a conference was to be held，这个句子的陈述句是a conference was to be held（这个句子不加其他成分也是成立的）而要加的话也只能是状语了a conference was to be held in nanjing,所以要用关系副词引导

Nanjing在句中做状语 这个是状语从句
如果不确定用哪个关系代词可以把这个句子还原
比如第一个就是 a conference was to be held in Nanjing and they reached there. 这里面Nanjing是地点状语
第二个I visited the place last year. the place是宾语 如果用where的话应该是the place is where I visited last year.
大概就是这样的

Last sunday they reached Nanjing,where a conference was to be held
该句中的先行词是Nanjing，将先行词代入后面的句子里，应该是a conference was to be held in Nanjing 即缺少了介词in 所以应该填in which 即where
