1.I am proud of myself that I made my first speech in front of the public. at first ,I was hesitate about whether to take part in this speech contest because I never had such experience before.but finally I overcame my nerverousness and got a good result through careful preparation and wonderful performance.
I am proud of myself that I learnt cooking during the summer vocation. at first I'm not willing to learn it because I was afraid of getting burnt by the fire. As my mother was always giving me some instructons,I made progress quickly, and felt so excited when eating the food which cooked by myself.
I am proud of myself that I finished reading an English novel during the winter vocation. at the beginning of the process. I came across a lot of unfamiliar words which made me lose interest in reading it .
but as I was holding on to it, when I finished reading ,I found my vocabulary was greatly enlarged and became more and more interested in studying English.
2. Trip Schedule
since we are going to visit America and Canada, here I have made a schedule for my 10 days's trip.
1st day: visit the The Grand Canyon(in northern Arizona, USA ,) write down some feelings after getting back
2nd day: go to visit one of the schools in America, and try to communicate with some foreign students there. share our opinions with each other.
3rd day: stay in the room in the morning. go shopping in the afernoon to buy some presents for my relatives and friend.
4th day: go to the capital city of America Washington D.C. and visit some government buildings there.
5th day: find one of my friends there. talk and have dinner together.
6th day: visit the capital city of Canada Ottawa. just wandering the streets there.
7th day: have some rest in the morning. go to the Ottawa public garden to take some beautiful photos there.
8th day: buy some gifts in the morning. send some postcards to my friends all over the world.
9th day: pack up my things and prepare to went back home. write some travelogs in the evening.
10th day: go back home and have a good rest.

I am proud I have learned to swim.Three years ago I met Mr Li who is a famous coach,he taught me how to swim.At first I was afraid of breathing under water,after practicing,I found it fantastic,now I enjoy seiming every day,it's really fun.
