3. I read an article today. It was about how people should try their best to save water. Water is very important for human being but some people are just wasting water. They don't turn off the tap after they finish using it. We should do better to save water.

4. My father took me out fishing today. At the beginning, we spent a long time waiting there but there was no fish. I was very impatient and didn't want to stay there. I wanted to come home. Father said to me, "Don't give up everything easily. We should keep on trying hard".

5. I went to the People's Park with my family today. We had picnic in the park. My mother and grandparents were preparing food, father was playing badminton with his friend while I was reading under a tree.

6. Mingming came to my house today. We spent some time playing computer games. We played basketball game online. I chose NBA and Mingming had to take CBA. Of course, I won finally. We had a good time.

7. I went to visit one of our teachers with some of my classmates this morning. Miss Jones is our English teacher and she likes all the classmates. She tried so hard to help us to improve our English. We went to her flat and had lunch there with her. We had a good time.

8. I went to see a film in the cinema this evening. It was called Kong Fu Panda. I love this film. It is funny but I also learned something from the film. We should not give up things easily. We should have a good plan and make up our mind to make our dream come true.

9. Xiaomei and I went out this morning. We went to the city centre. We went window shopping, and then we had lunch at the restaurant. We didn't buy anything as we didn't have much money, but we still had a wonderful time.

10. Holiday nearly comes to the ead now. I am very happy because I have already finished my homework. I also helped my mother with some housework this summer holiday. I believe I have grown up now and should know what I should be in the future. I will try harder to study well and be a good person.

11.《A Pleasant Day》
Therewas a great party on a Friday 15 September at the local primary school lastyear. It was the beginning of the term and the school decided to have a welcome party for the new comers. The teachers and students had to make preparations for the exciting party. They bought some food and drinks. They also did beautiful decoration to the classrooms. They prepared some lovelymusic as well. At one pm when the partystarted, the head master gave a welcome speech to all. Teachers and old students introduced a littleabout the school. Some old students sangand danced for the new students. The newstudents were shy at the beginning, just sitting there listening to people,eating and smiling, but they also joined in the singing and dancing later. Itwas a great party to help the new students to get to know each other and theschool. It was a successful party andeverybody enjoyed it.

12. 《The Love From My Parents》
Sometimes some young people are complaining that they don't get enough love from their parents. I always think the love we get from our parents is priceless.
I remember one day when I arrived home after school, it was quite late. It was all dark in the rooms, which is not normal. I walked around and found my mum slummed in the sofa in the living room. I didn't know what happened and just at that time, my father came in. We found out that my mother was sick. We took her to the hospital and didn't came back home until nearly midnight. The next morning, I got up and found mother in the kitchen, preparing breakfast for me, as always.
There are so many such small things in life but some of us just take it for granted. We might not be able to do the same to our parents, however, we should study hard to repay them. Love from parents is really priceless.

13. 《The First Time to...》
I will never forget my first time to Shanghai.
I went to Shanghai with my parents 10 years ago. At that time, many places in China were not as beautiful as they are today. When we first arrive at Shanghai, I was amazed. There are so many tall buildings in the city. The streets were wide and the traffic was always busy. What's more, there were so many foreigners everywhere. I have seen in the films things like that. It made me think of New York at once. We went to many interesting places there and we had a great time.

14. 《My English Learning》
I started learning English when I was at primary school. I was very interested at the beginning as it was completely different from our own language. However, the more I learned, the more difficult I felt and when I was in secondary school, I started to hate it. I nearly wanted to give up. My English teacher came to me when she found out my problem. She gave me extra help. She noticed that my pronunciation was great and she appointed me to lead the morning reading. Bit by bit, I became confident in English learning again and my english has been improved greatly.
I now know, as long as we don't give up, we will be able to achieve our goal by trying hard.

15. I will never forget the life when I was young and spent my holidays with my grandparents.
Every year in my summer holiday, I went to live with my grandparents Shanghai. After I finished my homework, I spent most of my free time with my friends there. We went to the park to catch dragonflies and went fishing. We sometimes fought against each other because we had different opinions but we always made up and became friendly again. We really had wonderful time at that time.
