But he couldn't．speak Chinese．Father went up to him and had a talk with him．My father helped him order some nice Chinese food．The Englishman had a nice dinner and was very pleased．He asked my father to call on him if he had a chance to visit England．To my great joy, I understood all that they talked．I was very happy because I had made great progress in English．
