Since China's urbanization and its ability of sustainable development still lag behind other countries, improving the ability of sustainable development becomes a priority in urban development. As an indespensible part of the city's ecosystem, urban wetland is crucial to the sustainanle development of ecosystem in urban areas. Now,sustainable developement has new requirements on the study of urban wetland, which makes the construction and presevation of urban wetland important research subjects. This thesis explains the current situation in urban wetland preservation and construction in China, reveals the existing problems and hidden causes, and in the end provides specific methods adddressing these problems.
