take off和put off的区别

take off :

1. 脱掉（衣服等）。Please take off your coat , it is dirty. 请脱掉你的外套，它脏了。

2. 起飞。 The plane will take off in ten minutes. 飞机十分钟后起飞。

put off : 

推迟，延期 The meeting will be put off till next week. 

take off 有两种常见含义：脱掉（衣服），（飞机）起飞
put off ,推迟

二者的意思完全不同吧。
take off：起飞
put off：推迟

put off

1．脱去

*As it got warmer，I put off my
overcoat．天气暖和了些，我脱去了大衣。

2．推迟

*Never put off till
tomorrow what
may he done today．今天可以干的事绝不要拖到明天。

*The concert had to be
put off
because the main singer was ill．由于主要歌唱演员病了，音乐会不得为延期。

*He had to put off
his
trip to Japan for two weeks．他只好把去日本的行期推迟两周。

3．使分散
