在新加坡 当行人过马路时为什么享有优先权？至少两个理由 最好用英语表达... 急求！！！

在新加坡，行人在指定的通道过马路，就有优先权，这是《新加坡陆路交通法规》里的条款，没有“为什么”可言，这就如“红灯停绿灯行”的道理一样

在新加坡，行人指定的通道有两种：斑马线和红绿人通道

英语：Pedestrian has priority when using zebra crossing and designated traffic light controlled crossong. This is in compliance to Singapore Road Traffic Act.

I think stipulating pedestrian past first is a good behaviour which can reduce the occurance of traffic accidents.Besides,such a habit can insure a safety drive as it reminds drivers to slow down their car.Whats more, most of pedestrians are elderly people,it is impotant to protect their safety.
