装船通知(Shipping Advice或Notice of shipment)，也叫装运通知，主要指的是出口商在货物装船后发给进口方的包括货物详细装运情况的通知，其目的在于让进口商做好筹措资金、付款和接货的准备。

如成交条件为FOB/FCA、CFR/CPT等还需要向进口国保险公司发出该通知以便其为进口商办理货物保险手续，出口装船通知应按合同或信用证规定的时间发出，该通知副本（copy of telex/fax）常作为向银行交单议付的单据之一。

在进口方派船接货的交易条件下，进口商为了使船、货衔接得当也会向出口方发出有关通知；通知以英文制作，无统一格式，内容一定要符合信用证的规定，一般只提供一份。
